Silver Creek (1/24th, 2023)

Warren writes: “Growing up in the sixties and seventies in Vancouver, B.C. Canada, I was an avid plastic scale modeler and like most, have built countless model kits over the past decades. Early on, I was inspired by the likes of Ray Anderson, Sheperd Paine, and other notable diorama artists who were revolutionizing the hobby with there models and figures displayed on bases depicting historical architecture, and natural environments that seemed to make the subjects come alive. As I began to enter shows and competitions during my midlife, I gleaned many awards for my efforts and as a result pursued a career in the Arts, Film, Theater, Museums and Private Collections. Yes, I also have weathered the storms of annoying IPMS flashlights and dental mirrors . . . lol. Now that I am semi-retired, I have re-entered the hobby after a ten-year hiatus. I find myself enjoying the hobby even more in my older years. I have always felt habitat dioramas were my main interest, although I have had the pleasure to scratch build numerous subjects, including several shadow box dioramas, and several larger works for museum and private collections.Silver Creek in (1/24th Scale) is my latest build in 2023 and I plan to build more as I continue to have fun with the genre. Most of my current work is covered extensively on YouTube @boomerdiroamas. Cheers!”
