Michael Scarborough, son of a naval officer, was born in Virginia and now resides in New York City with his wife Diane. He is an artist, writer and lecturer, the bulk of whose work is influenced by his childhood years spent in the magical country of Japan. Prior to becoming an artist, he spent 25 years singing opera internationally. He has only recently returned to model building and views box dioramas as an opportunity to create “theater in miniature.” Visit him on the Web at www.michaelscarboroughdesign.com.
