Bob built this box, his second, as an homage to Edgar Allan Poe. The “Easter eggs” awaiting viewers as they examine the scene include: 1.) The Raven: An animated copy of a bird from Odin’s Shoulder from a commercial bust. 2.) The Bells: Specially made Victorian Wallpaper with superimposed Bells. 3.) The Tell-Tale Heart: A throbbing red LED showing through plexiglass floor covered with wood planks. 4.) The Pit and the Pendulum: Converted clock pendulum with motor with pit covered in black velvet. 5.) The Cask of Amontillado: Sculpted brick wall with Prieser acadamy figure with LED eyes. 6.) Annabelle Lee: 28 mm figure and artwork of "castle by the sea" reflected through a mirror and scratchbuilt frame. 7.) Poe, bed and quilt are scratchbuilt. 8.) Cognac and Red Roses: Signify the fact that the two items were left on his grave every year by an unknown party. 9.) Lights and pendulum are controlled by a minicomputer.

Following are some shots of the box in progress and additional views. (It’s a hard box to photograph well!)
