Boxed Dioramas at the Musée de l'Armée
Our pal and world traveler Joe Berton wrote, “Jim: Here are some photos of the Musée de l'Armée [in Paris] showing the shadow boxes on display there. They were mostly made with flats.” I’ve been to the museum twice—as a Napoleonic history buff, it is my favorite of any museum I’ve visited—and I’ve missed these, so thanks for sharing, Joe, and I have a new reason to return (if or when we can ever travel again, post-pandemic).
